Hooray! Hooray! Chinese New Year is coming! We always have a lot of fun at it. We can have a long time to rest and play.
Before Spring Festival, people usually get up early and clean the house with their family. We also paste spring couplets on the doors. It means good luck and happiness in China. In the evening, the whole family get together and have a big dinner. Dumplings are Chinese traditional food. The children like the festival very much. Because they can wear new clothes and receive red packets.
After dinner, my parents and I sometimes go to the yard. We light the fireworks. It’s so beautiful and shiny. Doing this will make us feel cheerful.
